Razer black widow problem

Thread Starter
Hi all,
ive had my razer black widow now for about 6 days, and the left shift key no longer works. It doesn't register when i push it in and when it is pressed in i cant use any other buttons. My left shift key also dosen't work, when i press it in and click any letter on my keyboard it will only type a capital N. I'm going to assume its a faulty keyboard but before i take it back was wondering what you guys think

Cheers:thumb:

EDIT; all drivers are up to date

Yeah, it sounds like a defective keyboard to me.  Be sure to say it's "defective" for the best results.  ;)

hehe it always does with any product.  It doesn't have to be computer-related.  wink.gif

I'm very glad that the new one is good!

throw it on the floor... i hope it works!

It's a Razer product. If it works properly, there's something wrong with it. The one with the faulty shift key is how they intended it.

*Disclaimer: There is absolutely no sarcasm in this post.

Should I trade mine in till I get one with a bad Alt key or broken macros? This one works too well for it to be a razer.

Someone intervened.

Check on your drivers, it sounds like you MAY have accidentally recorded macros over those two keys. If you dont know how to verify that, try to uninstall the drivers and use the keyboard driverless.

I was kind of playing along with the joke, there's no problems with my Razer as of yet.

I would yes. You won't get much money for a perfectly functioning one but when you get a bad one, hold on to it as faulty Razer products are always valuable and sought after.
