Wow! This build is incredible -- your front post is really well-organized, beautiful shots, and the finished product looks great. Inspiring, nice work! thumb.gif

thanks for the kind words everyone wink.gif

I did some refilling today as I had noticed the water level had dropped somewhat on the reservoir (due to natural causes I presume, no leaks found tongue.gif )

Apart from the air that was still in the loop and only came out after a month or two, the tubing "sweats" tiny amounts of water as well over time. Seeing as this thing runs just about 24/7, it needs a small (tiny) refill every couple of months. After I took these pics I just filled it up to the top, that should be enough to last until spring wink.gif

here's a detailed shot of the Koolance QDCs that make using an external radiator so much easier

and here's the entire backside (notice the three silver (larger) replacement rivets I used smile.gif that midplate still is stiff like a formula 1 monocoque lol )

the build really is a joy in daily use ... 512 GB Raid-0 SSD makes everything fast like hell haha

CPU is running at 4.8 GHz, 670 SLI (with the 1.21 vmod bios) are doing 1250 core and 7500 (!) memory for their daily overclock smile.gif

I have to say that this build is EPIC! Just recently I started dreaming of a high-end build that would be very silent and very powerful. I'm not after flashy case design and your aesthetic ideas fit mine just so perfectly! Also, I'm new to water cooling and while reading around I had just figured that the more powerful silent builds have to have an external radiator unit. And there! Mo-ra.

It was awesome to find this build log that documents the process of putting together the computer I was dreaming of! I'm starting to save money now!

It's been a few months since you finished the build. How does it work in daily use? How's the performance? How's the noise? Do you/can you sleep in the same room with the Monolith? Any problems with the water loop? Any other observations?

Great job n0n44m!
