In crossfire, overclocking potential is reduced. Also, just because the average card can hit 850, does not mean your cards will. Just try and find the highest stable overclock. Playing the latest games is much better than a stability test. If you really want higher clocks, you may have to increase the voltage, but i would not do that as the benefits won't be big enough to justify the increase. Let me know how you get on and good luck.

i just dont get it frown.gif i really regret crossfire setup i cant even play crysis 2 with dx11 high texture pack on decent framerate and battlefield on ultra wich single card could handle most games on ultra ? budget is 250-300 euro

You can certainly play Crysis 2 on extreme/DX11 high res textures w. x-fired 6850s -- I did for months.

Regarding your OC, back the mem. clock down a bit. Any 6850 can hit 850 core but the memory is very touchy. I never exceeded 1150 mem. and I'd recommend you stay between 1000-1100. You wont notice any real-world difference.

Dropping below 30 fps in Crysis 2 is to be expected, especially w/ AMD 6000 series cards. It has to do with Crytek's terrible coding. Check this article out - very interesting read: http://techreport.com/articles.x/21404

BF3 on x-fired 6850s will run on ultra if you tone down the AA, but you'll def. get spikes that drop you into low FPS. That's the nature of the game, even with top-tier GPUs. Still, both games are playable at near-max w/ your setup. I played hundreds of PC games for years on x-fired 6850s and honestly there's very little they can't handle extremely well.

As for the OC, 850/1100 is a solid overclock and you should get stability w/out voltage tweaks. The core clock can be pushed much further if you up the volts, though. 920-950 isn't out of the question. Mem. will probably never exceed 1100, though.
