Seems like an H80 would be better

If I had to pick between the two, I would go with the Phanteks one, I think it is better than the D-14 too.... tongue.gif

I'd go with the Phanteks, you know you're getting decent fans then, i've heard they're pretty good, and I don't know what fans are on the logisys cooler.
The Phanteks looks better too, I want one, I think its an awesome looking cooler, that will out perform my D14.

The Phantek is on par with some other amazing coolers at a lower price and lower sound level, where as the Assassain Deepcool whatever is just middle of the road. I would go for the Phantek. It is MASSIVE though.

Phanteks! It looks a lot nicer than that logisys one, and it's in stock.

I have the Phanteks and I think it's a sweet cooler. The posters above has listed it's finer qualities.

I'd also like to add that Phanteks has really nice customer support. I lost a couple of the fan clips (you ever build computers...on weed?), and after mentioning it in a thread on this forum, a customer service rep pm'd me. They eventually sent me moar fanclips and the tiny clips adapters FO FREE.

Another vote for Phanteks. Just make sure you have 140mm + clearance over your ram for fan to fit.
Phanteks 14 is great but it is huge, be advised that it will prevent you from using any memory sticks with a high profile heatsink such as the ripjaws or vengeance series.

That's misleading. I'm not sure about vengeance but ripjaws and sniper are fine.

You can use ripjaws ram, and other models/brands with similar height heat sinks. I used to use ripjaws and use sniper now. These ram models can be accommodated by simply positioning the fan higher up on the cooler. The cooler still gets full coverage even if the fan is moved. This was only really a problem for me when I tried to cram the Phanteks cooler into a Silverstone ft02, which was solved.

Unless op, or anyone else is using a tiny case, then ram like ripjaws can fit and does not cause any extra problems.

My post before Kindredice stated the obvious;
Quote:

Kindredice post is not misleading in any way.

Your post on the other hand is very misleading..
Simply positioning the fan higher doesn't mean it will fit inside the case.

Vengeance is 52.5mm high + a 140mm fan = 192.5mm. Only some cases give that kind of clearance.
Ripjaw is 40mm high. Many cases don't even have 180mm clearance.
Sniper is 42mm high. Even less cases have 182mm clearance.
