Sapphire 7970 WC question

Thread Starter
Guys,

I recently bought a SAPPHIRE HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 , with plans in the near future, get another one for crossfire. As I already have my processor and motherboard full watercooled , I'm looking for a full-coverage block for this VGA. Anyone know, for example, if the model sold by Koolance serves this vga model?

All reference 7970 waterblocks will fit your card because its a reference design.

tsm106, thank you for your help! Already I can guide my future purchases ...

I saw that you have 3 of these cross-fired. What you say about the performance in games / benchmarks for only one? Worth the cost?

It was worth it to me... er though it probably wasn't the wisest financial decision lol. There isn't a game out there that I can't max and when I say max I mean it. If I wasn't a crazy person, I could get by on two cards. thumb.gif

I have the sapphire HD7970 3G os edition 950/1000 MHz model with the 2.5 twin x cooler.. There reference cards too btw..
As I wanted to cfx and my old cards would run hot I went with water, been planing it for a few years my CPU was already on water so I had no problem adding water to the gpu's

Ended up with 2 EK FC HD7970 water block's and I'm impressed 46c/47c Max temp, first card/second card , furmark and occt tested..
Oh tested @1275 core 1500 men 6G effective 22c ambient room

Looks hella sweet too
