Is 460 2Win okay at 5760x1080?

Thread Starter
Will this be okay or should I look into another 580 instead (or get another 4602Win and run them in quad-SLI)? For gaming I do Minecraft, DayZ, Sins of a Solar Empire and BF3 mostly. It will hopefully soon be on an MSI BigBang XPower II and 3930K, so the current setup won't be around for long.

I'd look into a 670 if at all possible. The GTX 460 only supports dual-SLI so another 2WIN would be completely useless I'm afraid.

Lies, you can put two cards together; they have an SLI connector on the PCB. But that still won't solve the VRAM problem I was afraid of. And I would love to just drop my cards and run to AMD but I'm a dedicated folder and these guys are cranking away, plus I'm an absolute EVGA fanboy for GPUs. I may be able to sell both of them and get a 670 SLI; would that work?

1GB is not enough for 1080p with AA either in several games.

As mentioned memory is going to be the biggest issue here for Surround gaming.

670 or 680 would be a better alternative.
