This makes me want to get an Android device again, last time I got one I ended up trading it for a Vita... Are there any good production/creation apps for Android these days? Or good games maybe?

The thread on XDA's blowing up. Ridiculous amount of speculation, but it seems the latest data suggests Google's waiting to fulfill preorders before allowing B&M stores to sell, hence the delay at Gamestop/Staples/etc. Of course, this is all speculation. I have no doubt I'll see my Nexus 7 by the end of the century.

The white ones were only for people who attended the Google IO conference. They were pre-production units, and they are not available for the general population to purchase. The only ones available are the dark slate gray backed nexus 7 units.


I'm still waiting for Google to ship my Nexus 7. I really hope that Google gets us our tablets at the same time you can buy them in a B&M store. If not, it's a bit of a kick in the but to those of us who ordered from them directly. mad.gif


At this point I'm looking for a case to store it in. I'm torn between a simple soft pouch, or a hard case like a Pelican. I'm not going to use a screen protector. IMO they defeat the great feeling of using a glass screen, and I haven't had issues in the past with scratches. smile.gif
