I just installed a Hyper 212+ on an i5 Sandy Bridge 2310.

I don't have anything major running at all.

Need temps at full load cheif. Run prime 95 or Intel Burn Test for about 10-15 min.

no one said anything about overclocking mainly because you cant on a i5 2310. (needs to have a K at the end)

you can try to drop voltage because auto just pumps too much.

my i3 2125 ran 1.10v easy.

yours will probably do 1.20v or less.

and do some stress test (IBT) to see if i can run at those voltages.
also turn off C1E or any other power saving feature.

Those temps are within spec. What is the ambiant temp in the room?

I live in California and right now its super duper hot! I have all my windows open and the air condition on, along with an air purifier. So my room stays relatively cool...but not as cool as I would like because even with air conditioning, there is barely any circulation. I would say about 70-75 degrees.
