GTX470 ---> ????

Hey guys, I've got a watercooled GTX470 that OC's really well...but I'm getting out of PC gaming and am looking for something that will run cooler. If you look at my system, it's h8red. I'm looking at selling my 470 and EK block for another card. What do you think I can get for it, and what should I move to? I don't need better performance, just something else.

I would recommend just going to a 7770 if you aren't gaming anymore. You're still going to get enough performance to do anything besides hardcore gaming, but with much less heat and power usage. Just my thoughts.

i would suggest a 7850. it is much more power efficient, and it runs cooler, not to mention it would be a good upgrade.

I was definitely hoping for a 7000 series card, as nVidia hasn't released a sub-$300 600-series card. I'd be totally cool with a 500 or 6000 series set of cards, too. I was also hoping to get one compatible with a waterblock. So, I'd like a GPU not much more than whatever my EVGA GTX470 (good OC'er) and an EK Full Copper/Plexi GTX 470 will bring in, and I'd be willing to buy a waterblock on top of that.

My only problem with the 7850 is there are no waterblocks for it....right? I'm hoping to keep everything under water. Otherwise, I'm probably going to be selling my whole rig and starting from scratch with a 2500k.

And why would you want to watercool a HD 7850. it does not cross 60c when overclocked. the review shows the card running below 60c under full load when overclocked.

HD 7850 (1 Ghz) gives you GTX 570 performance . At 1.2 Ghz you get close to GTX 580 perf. What more can you ask for from a card for less than USD 250.
