Note; I am newish to the iT world, so if I dont make sense, dont get mad tongue.gif

Not even mad tongue.gif Yeah I hope not, but hopefully this time around it won't be that bad. 2GB 560Tis are still fairly expensive, but that might just be supply and demand doing its thing (only like, 3 manufacturers released 2GB models IIRC).

It's close though. I know they have to make profits but if it is not twice as powerful and/or uses half the Wattage then I'm not going to pay out so much money for the entry level gaming card in a lineup.

If the 192-bit interface is true, then it would almost have to be 1.5 or 3GB. Which would guarantee 1.5GB

The 680 is essentially the next generation version of the 560Ti... it's highly likely, if they do use the GK104 chip, that one of the memory buses will be disabled along with 8 ROPs (as they're tied to the bus on everything besides GCN). I can pretty much guarantee that the memory clock will go down as well, considering it was left untouched on the 670. Core clock probably won't change much.

If it's a new chip (the fabled GK106), it's highly likely that it will have a 192 bit bus as well.

Basically, no matter how you slice it, it's very likely to be a 192 bit bus with 1.5GB of GDDR5.
