The 6870 is only barely worse than a 560 ti, while using less power and costing less. The 6930 and 6950 easily beats the 560 ti, no competition.

You can also ignore noise and temp charts, since almost all of the 6870s were non-reference. Much like a lot of the 560/560/560ti/6860 cards were.
Nvidia is doing fantastic with this generation, but nvidia killed nothing last two gens. AMD won at everything execpt: tessellation (barely), and top end performance (no answer to 580).
This whole notion of AMD always sucking ticks me off all the time. The only place I have ever seen an AMD fan who has an argument for their preference is OCN. Every PC gamer or builder I have met in person claims nvidia is better without having a reason for why they think so.
Where did this myth that the 560 ti was a great card come from? Because it was quite stinky at its price point.
I have a friend with a stock speed XFX 2GB 6870. I have to OC to 950mhz before I catch up in metro 2033. In BF3, his looks so much more smooth and I clock at 1000mhz 24/7 (tested on the same monitor).
