A 128GB SSD for roughly 90$, SSD prices are going down quickly. I was thinking of holding up until October, but I don't know if I can resist any longer the temptation of buying one.

I would rather pay an extra £10 to get a drive which is almost twice as fast in terms of sequential reads and writes.

Its still great for bringing life into older laptops that are only sata2 since double the speeds would be impossible for that interface.

I've been eyeing the Samsung 830 128gb on dabs for £77, and as others said, I'd rather pay the little extra :l

Unfortunately I can't really have much of a summer holiday, due to a deadline. So I will go for an SSD as well as some other upgrade.

As others have stated, I would also pick a different SSD even though a bit more expensive, like the Samsung 830. My point with the initial message is that it is good to see this price war spreading so that we can get more competitive prices.

Also, I wonder when the price drop will stop.
