is the difference noticeable?

Booting possibly not unless you have a lot of startup programs. Transferring files between hard disks. Yes.

that price is ridiculously attractive though. I mean its still gonna be better than HDD by far isn't it? I doubt any 128gB SSD is gonna drop to 70 anytime soon

So even thought its only SATA 2. at this price and the size, you think its worth it right? I mean I will get way better performance than my Sata 2 Samsung F1? How much slower is it to a Sata 3 SSD?

Lol don't even try wasting your time comparing a HDD to an SSD; HDDs don't even come close. wink.gif
Coming from a Sata II SSD to a Sata III SSD, I honestly noticed no difference.
Benchmarks show higher read/writes, but in daily usage there is little difference.

this would be a good for ppl wanting to upgrade their PS3 hdd to this SSD. But with these SSD deals popping up, i think those would be better choices for your PC.

Good find though. thumb.gif

The difference between SATA2 vs SATA3 is overrated for everyday use.
Sata2 is still ridiculously fast compared to any magnetic HDD on the market.

Amazon reviews here:
http://www.amazon.com/Verbatim-2-5-Inch-Internal-Adapter-47474/product-reviews/B005YR0JOQ/ref=sr_1_1_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

With that being said, @ $65 for 128gb, there isn't much to complain about.
