You're probably right. I'll see what I can do after I read up a bit.

Set your flashdrive to boot up first, and then it will ask you to update it by clicking enter.
I'm sure your BIOS is probably already up to date though if you just bought the system. You can check the version in the BIOS.

I think he's referring to the GPU; flashing to a 7870's BIOS would raise the clock and voltage limiters, but it can be dangerous. Dual BIOS helps, but still be careful.

As for utilities, Afterburner comes with a stability test program called Kombustor, but I'd get Furmark and OCCT too; some people have better luck with different tests.

What exactly are you using this computer for???

I have a sabertooth z77 with Ib and a 680 and I have yet to start OCing anything. I'm satisfied with my performance in bf3 and every other game I play. Maybe down the road I will oc but as for now I have no patience I just want to game.

Like someone said above if you're happy with your rigs performance why change something that isn't bad.

Just gaming.

Thing is though, I primarily play MMOs and I specifically built this computer for Guild Wars 2. The reason why I'm so concerned with maximum performance is because I got sick of, in WoW for example, having 60 FPS for the most part everywhere, except in town and in battlegrounds/raids, my FPS would drop quite a bit. I wanted a computer that could possibly stay at, or near 60fps even in intensive situations, such as mass pvp and raids.

hello,
as a personnal statement ,i would leave it alone,if its not enough to run games well then get a second gpu, worry after that about overclocking it.

Seriously though, the 680 is much more powerful at stock than a 7850, thus OCing is much more important. Besides, OCing is fun; my 7950 is fast enough for almost anything at stock, but stock clocks are boring and OCing is fun.

I was considering Crossfire to be honest. But the person I mentioned in the original post strongly said xfired 7850's would bottleneck hard on my CPU. Was part of the reason I came here.

You won't bottleneck at all. Bottle necking really only happens if you have a HORRIBLE CPU and a GREAT GPU. Vice Versa. You have a pretty good cpu and gpu. Even if you crossfire, you won't bottleneck. Trust me. You're running at a great clockspeed too. So there is even a smaller chance for bottlenecking.
