Hey all.
So I've been operating my PC for a few months now, built it 11/11/11 as my first rig that I actually built.
It's working fantastic so far, and no complaints. But I do have a few questions on the hard drive in particular.
For one, my hard drive is starting to fill up and I need more space. So I need a new one.
I have no idea how RAID works, or what it even is.
I want to be able to have more storage, so looking at potentially buying a new drive, HDD not SSD. What should I do, replace my current one of 750gb to a larger capacity, or should I get a second drive? What would make both drives as fast as possible?
I just don't know anything when it comes to hard drives, so need some input here. Trying to find the cheapest way to get more HDD space while also having the drives be as fast as possible.

(The third is for backing up your data before migrating it to the array.)

Although you don't necessarily have to do it in half. If you only have ~300GB of games, then... 400-500GB should be plenty - it leaves a nice buffer for buying more. Use the rest of the drive for storage.
