I'm very, very disappointed with these. Not the sound, that was actually great. The bass kicked magnificently, all the while missing no highs.
My brief, brief story is that I've now went through two pairs in three weeks. The first pair had a very faint rattle in the right ear from day one. I decided to live with it but within the next 24 hours it became unbearable. The next pair I exchanged them from worked great. For seven days... Day eight revealed the exact same problem as the first pair.
These aren't going through any rough treatment, abuse, or any misuse whatsoever.
I figured I'd write this up to help anyone who is in my shoes a few weeks back.
I'm open to suggestions for a replacement. I'd like to keep it under $100 but I suppose I could be persuaded. MDR-XB500? Hmm...
