Mounting motherboard

Thread Starter
Hey there, im putting my rip together now and have seemed to have lost the screw thats hold the motherboard in place, i was wonderig does it really matter which screws i use as long as they thread correctly?

I have read on forums were people say that different screws can kill the mobo. Just wanna make sure before continuing.

it really does not matter as long as you have the right thread. also I would stay away from the screws that have the teeth under them that hold in power supplies. use the ones with the smooth surface that contacts the mobo and you will be fine.
