cpu upgrade question

Thread Starter
i have an old hp dv4150US and was wondering if I could upgrade the cpu to any socket 479 cpu? I saw a nice deal on amazon for a t7300 for cheap and was wondering if it would just drop in. the TDP on it is 35W compared to the current processor in the laptop of 21W but other than a slight loss of battery life it should be fine, right?

before-
pentium M 725
Socket 479mPGA
TDP- 21W
INS set- 32-bit

hopeuflly-
Core 2 duo t7300
socket 479 mPGA
TDP- 35w
ins set- 64-bit

As long as the bios and other hardware support it - I personally wouldn't advise going with the higher wattage CPU case was likely not designed to handle the thermal dissipation of an extra 14w of power (an over 50% increase)
