sounds nice man, hows the temps and light bill ??? i was planning to get a FX but was not sure so got the 1090t. I read so many bad things about the FX that it just made me not look twice at the FX CPU's. But whats your point of view on them ?

The temps are really good around 30 C @ Idle and 45-47 C @ Full Load with Prime 95. My light bill is nothing LOL I have a 3 bed, 1.5 bath, 1400sq ft. home + a 400sq ft. heated and cooled building and keep my home at 74 F for like $150 a month with temps outside being 107 F during the day.

I do a lot with this processor and here is what I have seen as far as benchmarks:

Note: All benchmark scores are from PassMark Software's Performance Test.
  • 3.6 Ghz = 7988
  • 4.2 Ghz = 8704
  • 4.5 Ghz = 9176
  • *5.0 Ghz = 10381
*At 5.0Ghz I was not fully stable and was only able to keep the computer up long enogh to test the performance on PassMark and then dropped back to 4.5Ghz.

I can say that from the AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE that I had to this processor, there is loads of difference. I compile projects a lot and they compile twice to three times as fast, I also notice the windows environment being much more responsive. All in all I don't think I would be any happier with any other processor period!

Your scores cant be right. my FX 8120 @4.5 scored 10328. Do you have the power settings on performance mode? your scores are just too low.
