I've had my G9x after my G500 broke. I can honestly say I don't like it. My fingers just can't get comfortable. And the "precision" grip is just annoyingly wide. I use my G9x without a grip mostly and it's an OK mouse. And yeah, what is prediction? Is that AKA angle snapping?

Sorry blackhand I am telling it wrong, Prediction is angle snapping so say you move youre mouse in MS Paint and want to draw a straight line.
Its more easier with angle snapping/prediction because the mouse predicts youre movement. A other thing with the G9x is that is got possitive acceleration,
Positive acceleration is when you aim at some point move away a distance and then come back the same distance with the cursor the cursor will be slighty off target if its over you aim point its positive acceleration else its negative. Hope this explains it.

For some games some like angle snapping in some situation lets say you aim for headshots youre cursor will stay on the head level.
But on the other side when you want to adjust that level a little prediction can ruin it.

I hope this explains you the difference,
There still are many pro gamers with a G9x but also there are a loth with say a microsoft imo 1.1/ime 3.0.

It took my almost 2 weeks to get comfortable with my g9x. but I can honestly say that of the 12 some odd gaming mice I've owned in the past 5 years that it is by far my favorite.

The g9x logo does wear off but other than that its still in great condition.

Also I notice no acceleration, smoothing or prediction on my mouse.

I do have all the options like that disabled in the software though.

prediction you can set off I think in the logitech software, but still some acceleration remains but it occurs over higher mouse speeds, so with fast swipe motion, twitch shots, so when you are a medium or high dpi/cpi gamer you wont notice it as often as when u play with a low dpi setting and swipe the mouse faster over youre mouse pad.

The g9x has pretty heavy native acceleration. That needs to be considered for people who dislike not having 1:1 perfect pointer movement.

Is this all I need to do to turn off acceleration + Angle snapping?
