So I bought these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1682023155 Got them for $45 from newegg on a deal.
Okay so put them in, 200x22.5 1.3375v llc off
Set ram to 1866 1.5v and manual timings.
Ran ITB 30 runs on standard, passed.
Play bf3, 15 mins later BSOD.
Up the voltage to 1.55 on the ram (some ppl had issues running at stock voltage and had to bump it up for stability) Same thing
Upped it to 1.6v 2 mins in bf3 it closes and i get some kind of memorry error with weird numbers like 000x002371 kind of thing (not exact numbers, just an example)
Upped voltage to 1.65v bf3 closes again in 1-2mins. My resolution is changed from 1600x900 to 1024x768 and i got some kind of directx error. and said something about making sure my graphic card had at least 512mb of memory to play. Im running a gtx 560 ti fermi classified, its well qualified.
Dropped cpu clock to 200x18 stock voltage. playing bf3 now, no problems yet.
Okay, there is a a profile 1 and 2 i can choose for the memory.
Also, in ram settings it shows both profile 1 and 2 being the stock settings for these dimms at 1866 speed then there is also the "auto" or "manual" adjustments.
Question is should I use profile 1 or 2 or auto.. and if i choose either of those three should I then put the settings on auto or manual?
And go from there as far as if I can use stock voltage or if I need to bump it up like some people had to do.
Or should I just contact Gskill tech support
