Don't you GET it? Valve, itself a company that produces games, set up Steam as part of their plan to eventually block people's access to video games. Then Gabe Newell will have all the games, and everyone will have to be his friend or else they can't play games.

I wonder sometimes, do people go about all aspects of their life as if it's one big Scooby-Doo episode, or is it limited to their stance on digital distribution?

Give me a fraking break! I would consider myself an environmentalist, but you're now trying to take away my games?? Energy consumption and our primary source of fuel is the problem, not plastic. I agree, go digital, cut waste, reduce cost, but to lie and say all video games will all be waste. Come on, agenda much?

Just because you are good, even in the rain doesn't mean other people are. What happens if you're on the freeway, the roads are wet and a truck suddenly pulls out in front of you? If you brake too hard the wheels will lock up, you will fall of and you would either be horrendously injured or dead. If you don't brake hard enough you will end up going into the back of the truck and end up being horrendously injured or dead.

Yes and no.

Yes because if you were in a car and that happens you will still crash, even if the wheels do lock up

No because you won't be killed or horrendously injured, if you're lucky you would just end up with mild whiplash.

So what you're saying is, if it weren't for video games, there'd have been enough plastic available to mould this poor man a helmet?
