i have the apc smart-upc 3000 xl
http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=su3000rmxl3u&tab=features
it comes with a heavy duty 30 amp plug, this is a 2500w upc and i only pull up to 1k when i had my 580's benching. i was wondering if it would be safe to change the heavy duty plug to a regular 15A ac plug? as im not going to be pulling higher than the 10/15 amps on the breaker, i think it would be safe right? because it will only be pulling what it needs
thoughts? ive done this on welders before just not a ups lol
