Actually most people do not have issues and the forums represent a minority of people. On the forums there is only a minority having actual issues while most of em are just trolling and whining about the game and premium in general. Its really sad actually some of these people have 300 hours + of playtime and still play it regularly but are still complaining about premium or how the game is "broken". Which begs the question of why would you play a broken game for 300 + hours and continue to play it.

I personally am not having any issues with the game like the majority of the community other than the occasional annoying glitch, lately punkbuster has even been on top of the hackers. So I got premium because I paid less than 50$ for it, I do not see myself playing any other fps games in the future other than maybe planetside 2 and the game is still very enjoyable despite what whiners say. Also I would prefer to pay for content for a game I enjoy rather than bc2 method of one round of free content and then leave the game out to die.

Because you cant return a broken pc game and stuck with a 60$ loss. You might as well play it until a better game comes out. Which will take a while when the majority of devs are making garbage console ports.

The point is, how do you rack up 300+ hours of gameplay time in a game that is "unplayable" or "doesn't work"?

I play the game quite a lot (imo) without problems and I'm not even upto 150 hours yet. Maybe

Man, I'd love if cars were like that. Even when my car becomes "undrivable" or stops "working", I could still drive it absolutely fine.

Infact, I'd literally drive it right up to the main dealers garage specifically to tell them that its completely undrivable. Then drive it home again.

Lol, you can return it directly to ea for a refund....

Well in EA's defense, it is a decent deal. It has several DLC's and is cheaper than buying seperate,
Also if the DLC is quality, it is justified imo. EG: Vietnam for BFBC2

Ea says otherwise? Also

Its quite alot of DLC to be fair, and nearly doubles the amount of maps in the game aswell as granting many other features

Just like they said cheapening their IP was bad for business yet they still had a sale? I swear this company just does not know when to quit with gouging customers. Sad thing is people actually paid for the premium service and now EA continue this business practice in future games. I really don't see why anyone would pay $60 for a game then another $50 for so called "add ons" that should be free or a lot less than they are charging. Forty million is a lot of profit just for a "premium" subscription and yet people will still throw money at it. I miss the old days when online FPS games were about fun and not turning a profit left and right like now adays which is why I mostly play single player games.

I paid for it, and while it's riddled with bugs and they seem to push updates with their DLC only, I'm still going to play it. Will I buy their premium package? Heck no. It doesn't matter if they push them down my throat by making servers running them unjoinable or making premium players go first in queue. The only reason why I play is that my friends play it, so we can actually try to have some fun.Like some would say, I bit the bullet once, but not twice.

First of all it is not a subscription it is a one time payment, second bf2 and 1942 has its addons too which came up to an additional 60$ in 1942 case and 50$ in bf2 case. Premium doubles the amount of maps and adds new vehicles and guns which I say is worth it. Also people pay for these addons because maybe they enjoy the game. Its like you arent familiar with the bf series at all. If you dont like premium dont buy it, its doesnt give you any advantages other than the que. Also bc2 only had one round of free content then the game was left without much additional content and turned stale. I would support a game I enjoy for constant content updates.

I've been playing BF since 1942 was released and paid $35 for it and the Road to Rome expansion for $15. I paid $50 for BF2 and $25 for a combo deal for all of the DLC. Last one I played was BC2, I didnt like where the BF series was headed so with that game so that is the last one I am likely to play. Look at EPIC games and their Unreal series, they have never charged for the new maps vehicles etc. they give it away free for their customers. Also look at valve, they constantly are adding new things to their games and have never charged anyone for it. Lastly CD Projeckt is a perfect example of a company to support as they know how to treat gamers. So yeah I will support those that know the value of a dollar and don't price gouge their customers for petty add ons.
