The sales arent that good in my opinion. I wish Amazon good luck because Valve has the lock down on good summer and winter sales. But competition can only bring better prices!

No thanks. I hate that next to no Amazon games can be activated through steam. Not interested in having 30 game icons floating around when I could just pay an extra dollar or something to buy it through steam and have it in my library and constantly supported through a proven platform.

This is a good thing IMO. More competition among digital online game retailers is only a plus for us consumers. It drives prices down, and increases the number of sales we see.

I have been waiting for a deal on Max Payne 3. $29.99 for a Steam DRM version on Amazon is pretty tempting. If Steam had had started their summer sale already I would have given my money to them. smile.gif

Interestingly a lot of the sales are steam activation codes. So I believe this might be a solution to your problem depending on price.

Amazon has some very good sales last winter, but digital sales are only for US addresses.
