The only benefit of an i7 is Hyperthreading which isn't needed in games at all... You'd be better off with 4 more powerful cores.







). 16GB is overkill for anything other than a heavy-duty production rig (unless you're using a system-memory ramdisk) but 4GB is not an optimal solution these days by any means.
