Sooooooooo.... I figured it out... Somehow, and I'm not exactly sure how it happened, it had been trying to boot to my Steam SSD... Both my OS ssd and my games SSD are both 128 gigs, so I constantly get them mixed up. And the fact that I didn't change the boot order, there was no reason to think that got messed up. but I went into my bios and switched the boot to boot from the "other" SSD, and presto! Welcome to Windows! So that was sort of a facepalm, but I still blame the storm, because I can't think of any other reason why it would have randomly started to have problems with the boot order. I don't know.. Either way, thank you EVERYONE for the help, +rep to all. I learned a lot! And good luck magic8ball88 getting yours fixed!!

Hmm well I do have another drive for storage but it's 500gb. I'll try unplugging that drive but I don't see why it would be able to boot safe mode.

Btw, tap F8 before windows starts loading and you can get into safe mode for future reference

I hope you don't mind that I'm going to completely hijack this thread now lol

LOL. I should really change my rigs name... Big Blue came from my old case mod where I painted it blue with a bunch of other mods (see my build log in my sig). Now I'm rocking a Silverstone FT02 so it's back to black..

My computer can't find my OS anymore! :eek:
