From what i am hearing. Piledriver has both DDR3 and DDR4 IMC on it and AMD is waiting for DDR4 comes out before they use PCI-E 3.0.

i'm tired of switching Motherboards with each generation of proccessor to me it's a waste of money, with piledriver being AM3+ it saves me money in the long run which is what i want to do smile.gif so i'm very content with my Sabertooth my dream mobo ^-^

This, im very happy with my current mobo and I'm glad they will stick to AM3+, I skipped bulldozer for this very reason

true the am3+ cannot be considered to go versus the extreme edition of intel!but aside from the hardcore ,not many need the extreme!
so i dont thing it is an issue.amd could always release a new socket and make an extreme edition socket like a am3x

Phenom II owners are still waiting, computer companies still have AM3+ stock. If home builders had to buy a new motherboard there would be no logical reason to buy Piledriver over a sandy/ivy. Single/Dual/Triple channel is a marketing gimmick.
