...no....it doesn't.

The 9500 draws air through the "tunnel" formed by it's fins in the front and blows it out the back(behind the fan) and straight out from the sides of the fan blades.

It doesnt suck in from the fins and exhaust out the front.

im gnna open up my case and see wich way the cpu fan blows, i remember it bowing away from heatsink

i think i was wrong, its blowing ointo the heatsink, not sure tho

Yea, most, if not all HSF's are oriented to blow the air into the Heatsink and over the fins. If it is designed to draw air through the fins, it's not a very good design, pushing air over the fins is the way to go.

I distinctly remember the the CPU fan blowing air towards the heatsink. Makes sense, as the hot air drawed from the CPU by the heatsink needs to be dissipated. (It is a HEATsink, so i would assume it's called that way because it draws heat...)

Even if the stock orientation is having the fan blow away you need to flip it around. Why do you think most of use an aftermarket heatsink. All the stock ones stink! Get yourself a Arctic Freezer 7 Pro and enjoy how cool your CPU will be. It can be had for $20 shipped from www.provantage.com
