I'm not sure I understand the question. The SMH10 and STH10 do not come with I/O panels; they have 3.5" bays underneath the switches, so you can use any 3.5 inch device you want (there are dozens of them).

this is pretty awesome, I was just about to offer the suggestion of having a 3.5 external opening for imaginary floppy disks under the power button... which I would just use a handy dandy usb3 front panel. I'm glad the interest influenced the development of a more finished product.

yeah, time for me to go back into hiding.
