ax1200 fan replacement Noctua NF-P14 FLX

Thread Starter
so yesterday I decided to void my warranty and change the stock yate loon fan that made a buzzing noise and was kinda laud compared to my other case fans, the ax1200 doesn`t use regular pwm fan plug, and uses smaller version the one you usually see in motherboards built in small fans for NB, the noctua flx is not a pwm and cannot be controlled by the ax 1200 fan controller, not to mentioned it rated at only 0.1A compared to yate loon which is rated at 0.7A, the noctua came with two adapter low noise which spins down the fan to 900RPM and ultra low noise or ultra quiet which spins it down to 750RPM, the low noise adapter seemed to push a good amount of air and not so laud compared, so soldered it, taped it and connected the fan, pupped back the ax1200 casing and here I am, with a very quite psu that is not louder than my other case fans, no more buzzing and no more unneeded noise, of course the drawback is voided warranty and constant speed fan at 900RPM, I live far away and to ship it back to USA for replacement will probably cost me at least 100$, shipping it back and forth will cover the cost for a new PSU.

I am only using like 40% of the total PSU potential and I will probably switch to seasonic platium or hec couger 1000 gold in few months and keep this for backup, I was looking forward for the ax1200i but I think I should wait and see, corsair customer service is great but RMA is usless for me here.
