Well if mobos only typically go up to DDR2 800, I don't see any need for more than DDR2 1066, but that's just me. You guys are kinda crazy.

DAmn, those look great. Did it say what vdimm is needed? I kinda scanned it as I'm at work.

I might be interested in getting 1gig sets, especially if it performs well

Gotta wait and see when it's released

They are rated up to DDR2 by the manufacturer that does not mean they will not go higher... the P5B Deluxe is a perfect example

My P5B goes up to 1100mhz 5-5-5-5 timings, no problem.

Krunk, they need 2.3v to function.

I'm sceptical as to what kind of actual performance increase you might get with that kind of latency as an anchor. Granted, Intel isn't as hobbled by latency as AMD is by a long shot, but it's still going to make a difference. CL6 seems an excessive burden to the overall systems speed, IMHO, especially when the new stuff from Corsair manages 1250MHz at CL5, if you feed it enough volts.

I agree..I would take GSKill PC8500 4-4-4-5 RAm any day of the week over that stuff. And it's 500$.

heh i think at about 2.35 volts my ram can do that and mine cost me like 310$... and prob do it with tigher timings..

but i can say this at least the industry is geting somewhere if the volts was lower or the timings are tigher... i could see purchasing them. but at this point its just a waste of money.
