To be honest maybe it isn't space themed... A futuristic flying shooting game
Later, when I have time I'll draw a simple pictures from what I remember. Maybe someone will figure out from them.
what system was it on, pc, mac, a console, and how long ago did you play it?

No I have a Crimson Skies CD miself... great game and all, but I wouldn't call it futuristic.
It has prop motors and zeppelins...

In that game most of planes could hover in mid air, also I remembered that when you choose plane, you can choose weapons primary and secondary. Like pulse cannons and some of them they had ammo like 500 and others had energy or recharge time.

In this AWESOME image I draw, I tried to visualize some planes I remember....and no nothing from StarWars

Wing Commander?

Raptor: Call of the Shadows? it had space-themed sections...

Jump Raven? might be older than 6 years, but never was really spacey - it was based in a futuristic New York and implemented cyber-punk elements

There was an XBOX game with a Robotech theme, but that is not a PC game.

All of them are too old.

Game has a map with terrain. With big bridges (some planes can fly through) Has canyons, and sea or smthing like that. I remember shooting at wind turbines and sometimes I let those wings hit my ship. Wings from planes could break and fall off.
Planes where tacking up using runway from base (thought they don't have wheels)
Planes had futuristic weapons which you could choose Primary and Secondary. Some planes had automatic turrets

YES!!! I'VE FOUND IT!

After all this time I've found it.
So I was browsing Gamespot game lists and stumbled upon Evocrhon Mercenary game(wasn't looking for this) and suddenly the game I was looking for like a bullet struck my mind.
So I was looking for Echelon Wind Warriors
