question about coolmax fans

Hey guys was wondering if anyone else was having any issues with these fans , I recently purchesed 4 of them and the other day tried checking to see if they will fire up and somehow while the fans are attached to my psu iam not able to get my motherboard to power up, am I missing something here or am I just brain dead? Any suggestions are appricated , I have 4 fans plus a cpu cooler and the cpu cooller starts to spin just fine but the fans seem to be the problem, help me before I throw them in the tash lol!

One of the fans (coolmax) may be causing a short. Test each fan, start with 1 fan plugged into the PSU... then test another.
