You guys are awesomely helpful. The reason I want to know for sure is to avoid neweggs restocking fee (in the case of the Rosewill) or the Leopold return policy. I am able to test blues but nothing else. It's come down to Browns or Blacks!

Edit: I've read that guides portion on switches! It was great!

Are you leaning towards one or the other?

 

I remember when I was trying to figure all this out, I eventually found myself leaning towards the Cherry MX Blues even though I was still considering the Browns.  So I kept doing research, kept asking questions, and I kept leaning more and more towards the Cherry MX Blues.  Before long, I decided that I was leaning towards them enough that my choice was obvious:  I'd be happiest with the Cherry MX Blues.

 

That was about 2½ years ago, and I'm still 100% satisfied with my decision.  So I mean, you'll begin having a clearer and clearer idea of which switch you'd be happiest with.

I'm leaning towards the browns. I've been commenting on a few YouTube videos of guys who owns different switches asking about learning to actuate whilst spamming. I think I want the ten keyless Leopold brown switch keyboard. Before I purchase though, I would like to hear a few more black switch testimonies!

Anything against reds? I love my TKL with reds. Also you should maybe get the Quickfire Rapid instead of the Leopold. The Leopold uses Cherry stabilizers whilst the Quickfire Rapid uses Costar, and the majority of people would say Costar feels a lot better.

The Quickfire Rapid is cheaper then a Leopold TKL, too.

Just my 2 cents, take it or leave it.

My rosewill RK9000 crapped out on me after about 3 months. The mini usb connector is poorly fixed on the PCB.

Thank you for your input! What did you end up going with? What switches do you like for gaming?

As a side note, Filco seems to be beloved here, and there boards look really clean and nice and of substantial quality. Perhaps a Tenkeyless in that brand would be good too!
