I hope it doesn't look to bad, maybe someone can cut a piece of cardboard to size an place it in there? Or if anyone has and actual micro atx board in one.

It would look like a hot wheels toy car in the trailer of a semi. LOL.

You would basically cut off everything under the top pcie slot on a normal board.

I have a Micro ATX in my Phantom(placeholder until I can afford to redo my PC) and it doesn't look too bad. I mean, it does look rather small, but it's not that bad. People over-emphasize the difference. The case will look a little empty, but it doesn't make it perform any less.

If you want the switch, then buy it, and you can worry about the motherboard size later. I am sure that you would be happy with the purchase regardless of Mobo size.

Its mostly because i want a green and black theme, which would be the 2 gigabyte sniper mobo's. The e-atx one seems to have some problems and the other choice is an micro atx mobo. Perhaps i'll make a divider that goes between the mobo and psu area.

Umm i'm not sure that is any better.

"The board has been determined by the manufacturer to be defective. (There are videos of it catching on fire on You Tube during a stress test.) Gigabyte annonced an new BIOS for all of their current X79 motherboards [the F7 bios in this case] in order to prevent overload of the PVM circuit. However, the system now fails to run reliably and crashes on a regular basis."

I think you were in the right that mod was pretty rude you were helping the OP.

Though on topic, I was wondering the same thing I've looked around and seen apicture Ill see if I can find it again it really doesnt look to bad if anything it looks empty/clean
