Heatkiller LC, EK LTX, or Raystorm

Thread Starter
I've been looking around at 50$ waterblocks, and found those 3.

EK-Supreme LTX
Watercool HEATKILLER® CPU Rev3.0 1155/1156 LC
XSPC Raystorm

I was wondering which one of these is the best. I can't really alot myself more then 50$ for a CPU waterblock, and these were the only options. Also, are there any other 50$ waterblocks I should be looking at for the 1155 socket? Thanks.
Raystorm is most likely the best out of that list in terms of flow rates and temperatures for socket 1155.

The DT Sniper might edge it out, not sure if you can find that for ~$50.

I've had a lot of luck with the XSPC Raystorm. I've not tried the heatkiller, but have used the EK and found it lower performing. The only issue with Raystorm is the posts can interfere with tubing in tighter builds, especially if you're using motherboard / chipset water blocks.

Raystorm will be your best option.

The heatkiller I have not used, but the LTX has some interesting quirks that I personally dont like.

Alright guys, thanks. I'll probably go raystorm then.

Edit: +rep button doesn't seem to work w/ my phone, I'll do it when I get home.

If you care about component quality and machining quality, Heatkiller is the top out of those three.

I heard those heatkillers don't come with backplates though. Is that true?
I'm personally getting Raystorm looks the best one from all the research I've been doing.

The Raystorm is a fantastic block, especially for only $50.

I vote for Raystorm..eh I had one..It was good ..for Intel. However,I change platforms frequently, and the RASA block does that easier.
