What drivers are you guys using (im reading problems with 12.6?)

I just got x2 6870s and I need drivers so what are you guys using. right now I am not running crossfire so whats the best single drivers right now. I dont know if im going to run Crossfire in the future and I really only play one game which is WoW.

 

are 12.6s as bad as I keep reading?

Haven't checked recently, but I when I had HD6850 in CF, I loved 12.1

I'm currently running 12.4. No stability issues. I did install the 12.7 Caps though.

I'm using the 12.7 beta 7900MOD drivers from benchmark3d (http://benchmark3d.com/amd-catalyst-8-981-2-0-12-7-beta-june-26-7900-mod) and the 12.7 CAP 1.

I have no idea how these drivers will do in WoW, but I've been impressed with them.

I have a 6850 and got BSODs in all my games after 30 minutes or so of playing.

Now I'm trying to find a decent driver to use since I also had problems with 12.4 and 12.1.

So far im using 12.4 with no issues. I may try something else later on but crossing fingers. Seems like ATI drivers have fallen apart

According to AMD.com, http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalystSoftwareSuiteVersion126ReleaseNotes.aspx, there are no improvements for the 6800 series card. So if what you have installed is working, go with those.

I had no problems with 12.4. I ran them from release until this morning. I skipped 12.6 and installed the 12.7 beta. No problems so far and Skyrim went up 10fps.

All good so far. No issues with any games I play thus far (ME3/Batman/Skyrim/BF3/etc.) I obviously don't game on the 6450, but desktop/HTPC use has been great.
