eyefinity with one GPU + 2 additional displays on second non-crossfire possible?

Question is in the title pretty much, if you don't crossfire the cards can you run 3 screen eyefinity on one and two additional displays on the other or even a second eyefinity display on the second card? I know you can run 2 displays off of any gpus when the GPUs are seperate for as many as you have but I'm not sure how AMDs drivers would look at eyefinity in the mix...

Please only reply if you have experience with this setup or can link to someone else who has tried it or if you can link to a reason why that can't be done... tongue.gif

Yes, i run eyefintiy with my 6850 (I know, I know. tongue.gif) and have an extended display with a 6450.. It takes a bit of fighting to get all the resolutions right and such, but once you do, it works flawlessly. thumb.gif

I just bought 6 21.5" LED Acer monitors from newegg on sale for $109 with free shipping... Should be interesting to see how this turns out. I found a 6870 that can do 4 screen eyefinity then I'll add 2 more screens in extended I figure, the only thing that won't turn out right I suppose is the desktop baackground on the extended displays will probably look like crap trying to mimic the eyefinity background but on single screens... ah well. Seriously though this is basically an accessory PC so I don't need a center. My "main" desktop for gaming and the like runs with my 3, 55" HDTVs in Nvidia surround. Basically I want to setup a bunch of screens around and behind my desk so that whilst gaming I can have all these other screens each displaying things I want to monitor such as email, ebay, Facebook, instant messengers, forums, youtube, etc. open and ready to use at all times therefore a center screen is completely unnecessary. I agree though if this computer were to be used as an actual desktop computer it would be a bad idea.
