Cool & relativly quiet budget case

Thread Starter
Hello,

could you please recommend me a good case that would lower my pc temperature? I've noticed that a temperature is growing up under load in my case and a good ventiled one should never do that, right?

As for the price, i thought about something like:
Zalman Z11
Fractal Design Core 3000

Is there any case that has stock water cooling installed?
Thanks!

That will keep you really cool and mostly quiet.

The water kit literally comes with everything you need but the distilled water. Easy as hell to install as well.

I have a haf 912 advanced for my wife's rig and it's great

http://www.cmstore-usa.com/haf-912-advance-black-steel-w-side-window-panel-atx-usb-3-0-mid-tower-chassis/

and if thats morethan you wanted to spend the reg 912 is only $60 usd

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233

What are you trying to cool? It may be thet a H100 or large air cooler with some low rpm fans is what you need.

Also you say a budget, how much of a budget are you working with?

The thing is my case is so hot that my 560ti is running up to 87 celsius! It's twinfrozr, so it should be cool... i know that it's my case fault because it acts well when it's colder inside. How much money can i spend? So... i don't want to spend too much since it's just slightly o/ced i7 2600 and nothing more...

And what about fractal define R3? The second thing that i care about is it should be silent...

In my wife's rig her 560ti(same one you have) only gets into the low 60's while playing BF3 for a while. That's in the 912 advanced, but really any case with front/side intake and rear/top exhaust should work great for temps. Bigger fans will be better for you as they spin at lower rpm's and make very little noise while still pushing lots of air.

That fractal define R3 should work great, looks like a nice case and have read lots of good things about fractal cases.

john, what's the average ambient temparature (in the room the computer is in)? All these cases looks really nice. It's hard to decide.

One more thing: what about this one?

The ambient is usually around 74f-77f / 24c-25c give or take a few degrees depending on the season. right now the 560ti is idling at 30c.

That case looks ok, but have never heard of that company so I have no idea about the quality of it. The fractals and the coolermaster cases are well built unless you get the cheapest available.

It's up to 31 celsius in here... i'm just wondering if it helps anyhow... my gpu's hitting easily 90 celsius when stressed! Does it really matter? I'll show you my present case: http://www.overclock.net/t/631426/trendsonic-wizard-series

i have one 120mm at front, one at back and one blowing on the graphics card.
That case is pretty nice. How loud is it? A case with cable management to get the wires out of the way and a different fan setup(psu on the bottom and fan on top) should bring down your temps.

What speed do the fans spin at? Some very powerful fans would probably do the same thing, but that would be fairly loud.

With you ambient being so high your card will run pretty hot, but 90c is way hotter than it should be. Before I install our window ac's it's about the same temp here on and off and even my top card of my cf setup only gets into the 80c range. So I would say you should definitely be able to bring your temps down.

Your present case looks like it has 9+ drive bays...ever thought about adding a fan-mounted drive cage for more front intake?
