Hello OCN
I'm planning on buying a nice mech kb, and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions.
I'm considering the BlackWidow Ultimate (blue switches, I believe)

To make suggestions easier for you kind repliers, I'll write what kind of kb I want.
1) NO gaming
2) LED backlighting absolutely necessary
3) Noise is not a problem (unless I sound like I'm shooting a machine gun, that's a problem)
4) Prefer soft (light) keys

For the switches, read some of the threads describing the switches but i guess you want blues, browns or reds and afaik you can get both keyboards with all different switches.

@black widow ultimate: i think its a waste of money, the non ultimate is okay because you can get it cheap but the ultimate is missing the quality you would want from a keyboard this expensive (though everything can be fixed with sanding one or two keycaps a bit afaik).

yea!get a ducky shine dk9008s mx blue or brown..i just bought 1 yesterday with green led..got blue red white purple led to choose.

Why is the Ultimate missing quality? I've read positive reviews about it, can you explain more?
Ans the non-Ultimate version is the tenkeyless version, correct?

Thanks for the links, but the KBT is a bit expensive for me. I'll consider the DK9008S, tho.

I think this is the DK9008S, but I'm not sure if this version also has backlighting.

I do prefer some badass, Alienware-ish design, tho. Something that would definitely stick out.
Budget is approx 200USD, would prefer to keep under 150.

I do prefer some badass, Alienware-ish design, tho. Something that would definitely stick out.
Budget is approx 200USD, would prefer to keep under 150.
