Catalyst 12.6 problem

I updated from Catalyst 12.4 to 12.6 and I'm sometimes getting blue screens when using my web browser. It doesn't happen while playing games just with Firefox. Can't figure out what the problem is :S

try to downgrade to a lower version, maybe that wil help

Yeah, guess I will just revert back to 12.4 seems to be the most stable for me.

yeah first try that, and if that doesnt help try to do a clean firefox install.

I updated to 12.6 yesterday, didn't get BSODs doing anything light like web browsing but in all my games I got a BSOD after around 30 minutes of playing.

Went back to 12.1, now BSODs occur after 3-4 hours. I really wish AMD could get it together with their driver team.

It's happens to me too, In Firefox. So I downloaded driver 12.7 beta And no crash yet. Hope it fixes it

I BSOD on the desktop if I'm not doing anything for over 3-4 hours.

I was flawlessly stable with 12.4 too...so I'm headed back... >_>

i get problems to with 12.6 and 12.7 the only one that will work is 12.4 flawlessly the problem i get is that when i log onto windows the underscan is always activated and my screen is smaller so i have to go into ccc and move the slider to get the overscan correct to fit the montior ive tryed everythin but nothing works it always starts up with underscan so i eventually moved back to 12.4 which works great

I had the same thing when I had two 5770's in Xfire, I didnt need to go into ccc to overscan though it did it itself just took about 90 seconds after windows loaded! Went back to 12.4...

Now got a XFX 6950 its running ok with 12.6 BUT the 12.6 AHCI package just unpacks then does NOTHING! So I got half n half 12.6 for CCC and 12.4 for AHCI, will they EVER get these things right!!!! And all the messing about with 1000000000000000 restarts to reomve all the old fragments of drivers then reinstall new ones is a pain in the arse!!!

i reinstalled my pc today and once i installed 12.4 my pc takes longer to shut down does anyone know why this is its definatly since i installed the gpu driver the windows shutdown screen stays longer
