After an 'Issue' with the new ASUS P8 Z77 Premium board and the new Ivybridge i7 3770K

I have the following spec in the workshop under repair.......doh.gif

Can someone please clear up the grey area with the overclock on the i7 3820??

I understand the multipler is 'partially' unlocked? what is the ceiling?

The cooling should allow a pretty high OC and the Sandybridge has no sudden temp leaps like the Ivybridge.

I am intending to get this all running sweet and then funds permitting.....jump up to the six core extreme.

The OC menu on the Rampage IV is a bit daunting but I have the most confusion

as to how to wire the GPU voltage wires to the twin GTX 580's....any help?

Kind regards,

Aidan....... sniper.gif
