19" viewsonic a90 CRT

Thread Starter
Hello, I just picked up a 19" viewsonic a90 CRT. When I first plugged it into my sig rig, it could do all the way up to 2048x1536, and indeed it did. Now, windows (or nVidia control panel) won't let me go any higher than 1600x1200. I love having lots of space and don't really care about how small the text is, so I would love to have this option back. Why can't I pick 2048x1536 now?

Did you change anything? The cable you were using? The spot it was plugged into?

Try the other dvi input and see if it makes a difference. I had a similar problem a while back, the resolution wouldn't set correctly. Ended up being either the cord or the place it was input into. I just started changing thing around and something i did fixed it.

I fixed it, I removed pin 7 (the one that disables pnp) of the dvi side of the vga to dvi adapter. Now i can set it to 2048x1536.
