what is the best overclocking software for my amd 955 BE - Page 2

If you're just overclocking to benchmark 2D tests you may wanna get AMD Overdrive, it worked pretty ok for me, you won't be able to change as many settings as you would in the BIOS but you can get a few more MHz and try scoring some points in HWbot if you want to. I mean, as long as you can complete the test and save it you don't really need it to be stable.

If you want to overclock to a safe 24/7 config just use BIOS + Prime95. Also check temperatures at full load with Coretemp.

Bios.

If it POSTS then you know there is a chance of stability when a stability test fails.

On the subject of testing, does anyone use OCCT at all, and if so which test do you like? I don't want to get deep into a how long and which one is better, but I just wonder if OCCT is even a valid test (hint: I use it).
