Uhh. About 60% of those games are more geared towards Nvidia cards. Batman of all..... and you think it performs as well as a GTX 680 when the clocks are about the same? He was right, they're about neck in neck. Some games favoring to one camp more than the other.... like Batman -- Which has been the biggest pro Nvidia game to date.

I have both setups (check sig rigs) --I can tell you which one performs as well as the other with fanboy aside:thumb:

Like I said you can also run a second gpu with PhysX together with the AMD video card: http://www.ngohq.com/graphic-cards/17706-hybrid-physx-mod-v1-03-v1-05ff.html. But you can do this with any cheaper NVDIA video card either but a 680 and a 450 GTS together doesn't make sense, isn't it? Don't forget to buy a decent aftermarket gpu cooler. I like the Scythe Setsugen or Musashi because they only use 1 additional slot. Such a cooler is also $40. Probably an AMD video card is more valuable at the moment?

I'd rather pay more and get more than pay less and get less. So, I just mean if you have the money and PhysX is something you're interested in, then why not?? Performance between the 2 options is swayed one way or the other by the particular game, so, if you have the money then go with the one that runs PhysX if you're interested in it.

I agree with you but the AMD video card usually performs better with the higher resolution and the multi-monitor setups.

PhysX isn't THAT important to me, it's just eye candy. But to be honest the reason I put games on highest settings is for eye candy, and if the performance isn't enough to make me squeal I think the 680 is the better choice.
