A lot of people posted recommendations for AMD cards. I just went from a PNY GTX460 OC to an EVGA GTX560TI, and I'm loving it. I'm seeing about 32-33% increase in performance benchmarks (3D MARK, NOVABENCH) as well as framerates (Metro2033, COD, Skyrim). I'll be using this as an interim upgrade until the GTX670/680 drop in price.

I got an excellent deal locally on the card, so this was a super-cheap upgrade ($30). I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I do run games on a 30" monitor and 2560 resolution gaming on single monitor can be taxing on the GTX460. I don't plan on upgrading to dual or triple monitor anytime soon.
