So I've been enjoying my favorite games lately. But just recently a new and unusual problem arose. When I play ANY kind of game or online game, after 5 minutes of playing it begins to slowly slow down, until my whole computer crashes. I've tried defragment, disk cleanup, and error removal, no virus's are to be found as my old laptop says. Most people say it might be my old laptop, but I just wanna make sure before I give up. My recent download was a game called Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, if there is anything about that game that can effect certain computers be sure to tell me, because the nonsense started after I downloaded that fan game. If there is anything on a laptop that must be removed please tell me too, THANKS!

Sounds like overheating to be honest. How old is it? Do you keep it clean?
Might be worth opening it up and getting rid of any dust etc.
Also try and ensure that you dont use the laptop on a bed or cloth and allow the best airflow as possible underneath the laptop.
