And not a moment too soon. No reason to put the word windows in front of every little thing. Just gets annoying to pronounce.

The only good thing that I see that comes out of Win8, is better file transfer options (pausing, queuing , etc), but I can just use TeraCopy for that.

With better multimonitor support, greater efficiency, better system applications like task manager, better desktop UI, and many other large improvements, there's no reason to stick with 7. The only time you have to use Metro is when you use Start, which you should only be opening for the search (which works almost exactly the same.)

After using 8 for a few weeks now, all this hate is completely unfounded.

Makes more sense this way. Honestly, the old pre-Win95 Program Manager and File Manager had the most intuitive names.

I beg to differ, i have two monitors and no matter which one has the main screen, trying to use either of the hot corners in the middle of the two screens is near impossible. The mouse just flies onto the next screen, i have to be very careful on how i approach it.

Exactly... few non-tech literate people even know of Windows Explorer even though they use it daily. One would assume every PC user that's at least used XP (if not older Windows) would have seen enough "Windows Explorer is not responding" to know what it is.
