New case selection

Picking out a case that not everyone has. With enough room from a 120mm heatsink. And a window. Budget 200 and under.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811144089

Looks nice but not sure how much room that has.

Thermaltake SHARK, not everyone (but me) has that case, it's the best, all aluminum and I used to have a Zalman CNPS7700 and now a Tuniq Tower 120. It's excellent, it has 1x 120mm fan for intake and 1x 120mm fan for exhaust, also the honey-comb side opening is great for air-flow whic is better than a (stinking) window, IMO, and it keeps your system running cool.

I like it a lot actually.

Other's I've found.

Really nice case. It's a raidmax and I'm willing to bet that that front 120mm fan isn't coming out without a fight if it stops over time. A nice little vent over the top of the case. Looks like 12 little holes in the front to vent. And has a side vent. Is it good for the side fan to be an intake? And should I change it to a 120mm?

Looks decent but it's steel. And it's a mid tower. I'm not sure I should even be looking at mid towers.

What about this one ? You can mod it for another exhaust.

-----------------------

If i was to buy a new case i would definitely go with this one. It doesn't have a side window but i think it's the best case for air cooling in the market.

For a budget that big, Lian-Li. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811112117

You will love it.

A few questions.

Can all of these hold a 120mm tower heatsink?

The lian Li case that was linked above. I believe my motherboard will be upside down. Since it has passive chipset cooling will that overheat it?

How big is the difference between Alumiumn and Metal. I heard Aluminum is cooler but by how much? I also heard metal is quieter. It appears cool and quiet aren't friends when it comes to computer building.

So far I liked everyone linked on this page. The one below just happens to be the most easiest to get since it will be a instore pick up. So I'd like a rating of that one.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811156061

Every case on this page so far all look nice and for difference reasons. I really don't know what to base my choice on.

Although it has no window so far has the best looking inside. And looks great on the outside. NZXT Zero Black/Silver Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case. Pic is a few pages above by 3xtrm3

Antec 900 is an overall plain looking but seems to have some great cooling options.

The lian-li has the best features. I'm just not sure if I'd ever use all of that hard drive space. And I wish I could get more pics of it.

Microcenter told me I could buy the Sirius Aluminum ATX Case. And if it doesn't fit my needs I could take it back within 30 days for a full refund. That is the nice thing about shopping local. They also have 140mm fans...

The Shark is a sweet case, or the Thermaltake Eureka, a cleaner, not-as-modded look to the Shark: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...oducts_id=4302

I would have to tell you to get the Thermaltake Armor w/ 25cm side window. It will fit anything that u would ever want to put in it and it has a 25cm side fan. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811133021
